Engagement Session on the Beach: Kelli + Bryan at Coronado Naval Base

There’s something undeniably magical about photographing couples in love, and Kelli and Bryan’s engagement session was no exception. We met up on a perfectly overcast evening at the Coronado Naval Base, where the soft skies and gentle waves set the scene for one of the sweetest sessions I’ve had the honor of capturing.

Kelli and Bryan are the kind of couple whose energy makes you feel like you’ve known them forever. They’re down-to-earth, light-hearted, and so clearly in love. As we walked along the sand, they laughed effortlessly with one another, shared quiet moments, and embraced in a way that made my job feel like a dream. Their connection is natural and genuine, the kind of love that doesn’t need much prompting because it just shines on its own.

This beach holds a special place for them, and I love when couples choose locations that reflect their story. The naval base added a unique and personal touch, and the calm waves and golden light wrapped everything in such a peaceful glow. We kept the session relaxed and true to who they are, jeans, white tees, barefoot moments, and all the joy of a couple just soaking in this season of life together.

Kelli and Bryan are set to say “I do” in May 2025, and after this session, I have no doubt their wedding will be filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. I can’t wait to document their big day next spring and continue telling the story of their journey.
